H Illian ξεκινήσε την ενασχόληση της με την μουσική σε ηλικιά 6 χρόνων παίζοντας πιάνο για 9 χρόνια στο ωδείο της μικρής πόλης της.Στα φοιτητικά της χρόνια έκανε τα πρώτα βήματα στο πανεπιστημιακό ραδιόφωνο της Πολυτεχνικής Σχολής της Ξάνθης και αργότερά στο τοπικό ραδιοφώνο.Το 2019 ξεκίνησε το DJing εστίαζοντας κυρίως σε dark είδη μουσικής όπως Post-Punk, Dark Wave, EBM, Industrial Techno.Την ίδια χρονιά βρέθηκε για πρώτη φορά και στο Paranoise Radio.
To Noisetape που προσφέρει στους ακροατές του Paranoise σήμερα – το πρώτο που παρουσιάζουμε για το 2021 – διαρκεί 58 λεπτά και φέρει τον τίτλο Occulture.
“H έννοια του Occulture (Οccult+Culture) χρησιμοποιηθηκε απο την industrial μουσική σκηνή στα τέλη του 20ου αιώνα και επινοήθηκε απο το βασικό όνομα αυτης της σκηνής,Genesis P-Orridge.Έτσι το συγκεκριμένο noisetape εστιάζει σε dark, deep, disturbing, ritualistic industrial techno σε συνδυασμό με φωνές ψαλμωδιών,tribal ρυθμούς και noisy ambient.”
Illian engaged with music from 6 years old,playing the piano in the conservatory of her town for about 9 years.As a undergraduate student made her first steps in the University Radio Of Xanthi and later in the local radio.In 2019 started DJing focused on dark genres
such as Post-Punk, Dark Wave, EBM, Industrial Techno. The same year joined Paranoise Radio.
“The concept of Occulture(Οccult+Culture) was used within the industrial music scene of the late twentieth century, and was coined by one of its central figures, the musician and occultist Genesis P-Orridge. So,this noisetape focuses on dark, deep, disturbing, ritualistic industrial techno with some chanting voices, tribal rhythms and noisy ambient.”
